Shaun Griffith

Co-Founder & President

Shaun Griffith co-founded Hospitality Parking in 2006 and is a 25-year parking industry veteran. His firsthand experience working on the front lines of luxury hotels gives him unique and valuable insight into developing, refining, and maintaining the most effective best practices that yield happy associates, customers, and clients, as well as the best financial yields for the operation.

A native of Northeast Ohio, he graduated from St. Edward’s University in Austin with a B.A. in Psychology. Having started his career “on the ramp” as a valet parking attendant, Shaun is the classic example of how, with sustained focus, hard work, and smart strategy, great opportunities exist for all levels of associates.

Since joining Hospitality Parking in 2007, Jake Varshal has overseen its growth from a handful of employees at a single hotel to hundreds of team members spread across clients in major markets.

While his early experiences serving at luxury properties attuned him to the enduring high standards of Hospitality Parking’s clients and their guests, Jake believes the company’s willingness to adapt and ability to anticipate technological and industry change contributes to its remarkable success. Today, he works to translate Hospitality Parking’s big-picture goals into its day-to-day operations by emphasizing training and development, constructing policies and procedures that reflect the company’s values, and fostering an environment that continues to embrace innovation.

Ross Severy

Ross Severy joined Hospitality Parking in 2014 after working in the parking and hospitality industry for 14 years. He brings with him a foundation of expertise developed over years of working and refining his skills in all levels of the parking industry.

Ross began his career overseeing the parking operations for two, 1,000-room hotels, while undertaking the role of Operations Manager for the market. In 2006, he moved to Austin where he built a portfolio of 12 hotels, varying in size and complexity. Under his guidance, 300 associates and 12 managers flourished as the markets continued to grow. In 2012 Ross transitioned to the technology side of parking management, working with the team at Klever Logic to build out Flash Valet, a valet app for parking operators and guests, as he saw opportunity once again to better the guest experience. Today, Ross is responsible for all Hospitality Parking operations in the Austin market.

Ross firmly believes that exceeding guest and client expectations are the two biggest keys to success in this industry. He achieves this by taking ownership of the operations and provides a hands-on approach with the team and managers.
